My number one advice to all my clients when they seek a consultation is this “no mater what, don’t light someone on fire.” Well it seems that Darion Mcgee either needs better advice or a different attorney.

Mr. McGee was arrested in Leesburg Florida for just that offense, he stands accused of setting another man of fire. Interestingly enough, the actual events occurred well over a year ago in December of 2021. According to the report, the incident took place because of a robbery that went array. Mr. McGee would allegedly set people on fire if during a robbery he ended up having to kill them and this is not the first time he has done it.

From an Evidentiary perspective, any time a case takes this long to proceed to an arrest is a good reason to believe the police had issues. Maybe they had identification issues or maybe some other proof was difficult to ascertain. Whatever the case may be, the longer it takes to make an arrest the better the case becomes for the defense. It is also very possible that Mr. McGee has been wrongly identified and then, all jokes to the side, he needs good, serious council. We would be able to take that identification issue and bring it to light here at the Smith and Eulo law firm. Police often make mistakes and that it is why it is so important to hire a strong defense team to help you through these cases.
